ISAGS signs collaboration agreement with INS Colombia

With the agreement, the institutions are committed to promote and strengthen relationships for integration in health in the region.

Last May 4, at the headquarters of the National Institute of Health of Colombia (INS), Martha Ospina, Director General of the National Institute of Colombia, and Angela Acosta, specialist in Medicine and Health Technologies representing ISAGS, celebrated the signing of a official document of collaboration to promote and strengthen relationships.

Angela Acosta expressed satisfaction with the agreement: "we are framing the collaboration and technical support between INS Colombia and ISAGS to strengthen relations between institutions and also contribute to boost the activities of the Network of National Institutes of Health of UNASUR (RINS-UNASUR) of which the Institute is a member".

Likewise, he said that it is in the interest of the International Agency to strengthen health surveillance in the South American continent and to establish a platform of indicators, for which it is of special attention to know closely the work of Colombia.

For its part, the Director of INS Colombia commented on the importance for the Institute to become an ISAGS ally and highlighted many of the key issues in the South American region and in which the INS has experience and is a reference to provide Technical support and knowledge.
